Sony Ericsson C510 mobile phone deals A High Quality Camera Phone at Bargain Prices

If you want a nice camera phone that won’t break your budget, the Sony Ericsson C510 mobile is exactly what you’re looking for. Not only is its camera packed with features, but you also get an impressive music player, high quality sound, and fairly speedy internet to boot.

Appearance:

At 92g, this sleek, slim little phone is small enough to fit anywhere you choose. Its exterior is available in shiny silver or sleek black. Combine this with its 2.2 inch 262 TFT colour screen and finger-friendly buttons, and you have a truly unique design, especially for low budget prices.

Its screen in particular may not be as big as other phones, but it provides clear, smooth footage, whether you’re watching videos, browsing the internet, or simply playing with the user interface, which is very user-friendly indeed. The screen is also brightly lit and quite durable—it’s resistant to fingerprints, scratches, and dust, making it a plus if you worry about scratching your phone while carrying it around in your back pocket.

Camera:

Of course, the crowning gem of the phone has to be its camera. Don’t be disappointed in its 3.2 megapixels; this Cyber-Shot camera is built for quality. It includes a 3.2 x digital zoom, auto focus, face detection, LED flash, photo lights, and a photo editing system. You may also enjoy the Smile Shutter, which automatically takes a photo of someone once they smile. Combine this with a quick shutter and a sliding lens cover for added protection, and you have an awesome camera phone! What’s even better is that Sony has added a popular feature called Geo Tagging, which uses GPS to tag where you took your picture. While A xenon flash would have made the camera outstanding, the LED flash does its job fairly well.

Another fun feature is PictBridge, a program that allows you to print directly from your camera, thus removing the hassle of uploading photos to your computer first.

You can have just as much fun making videos as well. The camera allows for video streaming and video chats as well. Its stabilser also prevents your video clip from becoming too jerky or blurry, and the video light allows you to film in darker locations. The C510 has also joined the trend of making your videos youtube compatible, allowing you to watch or upload clips as you please.

Sound:

For a camera phone, the C510 has an absolutely wonderful music system. Along with having a media player, a Bluetooth A2DP stereo, and an FM Radio RDS to enjoy, you also get popular programs such as TrackID, MegaBass, and PlayNow. The phone allows for MP3 and AAC file formats. As for quality, you’re in for crisp, clear sound, whether you’re listening to music or simply talking. The only thing we would have liked to see was a 3.5 mm headphone jack.

Internet Connectivity:

When it comes to internet connectivity, the C510 has a fair amount of power to it. Its quad-band technology guarantees almost universal connection. You can choose from 3G HDSPA, EDGE, Bluetooth A2DP, and USB. While Wi-fi isn’t available, it’s not a huge loss considering the amount of other options.

Browsers include Access Netfront and WAP. Both browsers are compatible with web feeds, making it simple to keep up with your favourite blogs. You can also use GoogleMaps to get or give directions. Also featured are SMS, MMS, IMs, predictive text, and a nifty sound recorder. Its email system is simple to figure out, and the Microsoft Exchange ActiveSync makes transferring documents, music, and more a hassle-free experience.

Memory:

Its 100 megabytes of memory, plus the four gigabytes of extra storage available from a memory stick micro, gives you more than enough space to store your music, pictures, and films.

The phone also has an impressive battery life for having so much packed into it. However, you won’t have to worry about charging endlessly. Along with ten hours of GSM talk time and four hours of 3G talk time, you get 400 hours of GSM standby and 350 hours of 3G standby, plus an additional two hours for video chatting.

Additional features:

Along with a handy organiser, alarm clock, phone book, and other features, the C510 features Flight Mode, an option that allows you to browse through your photos or listen to music while you’re in the air. Be sure to check out the 3D and Java games for added fun.

Verdict: The Sony Ericsson C510 is an amazing phone for its price range. There is very little to be dissatisfied with. Whether you’re a camera enthusiast, music lover, or simply fond of phone gadgets, this affordable little phone has what you need.
