Samsung E250 - Luxury In The Palm Of Your Hand

Samsung E250 free line rental deals (Also available below in silver, black, lilac, and pink)

One of the best-known names in the sliding face style mobile phone market, Samsung can always be relied on to make phones that generally look good, are reliable and have an excellent build quality. Indeed, when they launched their D600 phone a few years back, it was a huge success for these very reasons, and the their E250 carries on this enviable tradition.

Not only does this handset shine when it comes to its overall look and feel, it comes equipped with a whole host of features that must make Samsung’s competitors just that little bit nervous, wondering which of their models they should risk outing up against this winner.

Simple Design, Maximum Effect

One of the immediate things that hits you when taking the E250 out of its box is the sleek design that Samsung has given it, that allows a good-sized 2” display screen to sit just above the essential control keys that are on the front of the unit. Taking the design of its famous older brother, the D600, it’s a good-looking phone that also sits easily in your hand, thanks to an intuitive and clever grip design.

Don’t be fooled by its size though – the Samsung E250 more than packs a punch when it comes to features, and lovers of both sound and vision will love this little phone. One particularly handy feature is the uTrack option, in the event your phone is lost or stolen.

Come Out And Display

One of the coolest features that Samsung has placed into the E250 is a black user interface, and though it might not sound much, the results definitely speak for themselves. Simply put, all the menus are superimposed against a black background, and look so much sharper and defined for it.

The quality of the pictures and video that you can take on the E250 are impressive too – with a 4x zoom for the camera combining with Samsung’s CMOS sensor (to take the clearest photographs possible), as well as 15 frames per second video recording (with up to one hour’s worth of recording time), the E250 is no slacker when it comes to this department.

Music For The Masses

Like all the best mobile phones on the market, the E250 has an FM radio, as well as full MP3 and AAC audio support, so you can load your favourite songs onto the phone and listen through a headset (manual or Bluetooth) or the speakerphone. There’s even a voice recorder that allows you to record up to an hour’s worth of speech, ideal for any meetings or such.

Almost Perfect

With all these features, as well as tri-band GSM support and an extensive WAP Internet browser, you’d be forgiven for thinking there are no drawbacks to the E250. However, it only has 10 Megabytes of internal memory, which is pretty useless for most uses today. There is the option to upgrade this via a Micro SD card, yet is just seems a shame that such a great phone would be let down in such a basic way.

Yet it is just a small complaint – if you can overlook it, and are buying the SD card as standard, you really can’t go wrong with this little cracker of a handset.
