In recent years Nokia have attempted to reach out to the entire market. They have aimed to offer a variety of devices with a variety of price tags. However, one of the more budget devices is the X2. This handset looks to provide a considerable amount of features for a more mid-range price. So what exactly does this device have to offer?
In terms of its appearance, the X2 is quite an eye-catching handset. The body design is sleek and the keypad is smooth and simple to use. As well as this, the X2 sports a 2.2’’ QVGA display, which is of a solid standard for a low mid-range priced mobile phone.

The X2 incorporates the 6th edition of the Series 40 user interface. Although this interface is familiar to most, it feels out-dated on this device. There are improvements needed to be made to the S40 UI, particularly to allow better multi-tasking abilities.
The camera on the X2 is a surprising 5 megapixels with enhanced fixed focus and LED flash. When compared to the higher-end devices from Nokia, the camera on this device is slightly below standard. In a similar fashion, the video recording is also a relative under performer, offering QVGA resolution at 20 frames per second.
Connectivity on this handset is somewhat of a mixed bag. It does offer a quad-band GSM/GPRS/EDGE, Bluetooth and USB. However, it does not offer 3G, Wi Fi or GPS capabilities; resulting in quite a limited internet experience. Nevertheless, the device does come with an integrated Facebook application for those interested in accessing social networking through their phone.
