Nokia N95 monthly cash back offers The All In One Mobile

The Nokia N95 is a mobile phone like no other. It combines a stylish, sleek design with every desirable feature available, including an advanced camera, PDA functions, a media player, and satellite navigation. This little wonder features a two-way slide casing and can slip right in your pocket, though it is a bit heavy compared to some mobiles on the market.

The N95’s 66mm (2.6 in), 16 million colour screen takes up most of the phone’s front panel. There is room for a set of navigational buttons just below the screen for easy access to the phone’s menu and shortcut features. Sliding the screen up opens the N95 to reveal a fashionable keypad. The keys are rather small and closely spaced, making it tricky for users with larger fingers.

Sliding the screen down opens the N95’s media player and reveals the media player control keys. The display switches to a landscape view with a trendy multimedia menu display. The N95 media player supports most file formats and features an integrated FM radio. Music playback, even through higher quality headphones that can be used with the 3.5mm jack, isn’t the greatest, but the video capabilities of the media player are amazing thanks to the high quality screen.

The Nokia N95 boasts one of the best cameras on the market in a mobile phone. The first 5 megapixel camera phone to hit the UK market, this camera features auto focus, an LED flash, and 20X digital zoom. The N95 takes acceptable pictures in most conditions, even at night, and the video recording capabilities are comparable to that of a standard digital camera.

Possibly the most astounding feature of the N95 is the integrated GPS application, Maps. The application downloads satellite map images based on your location and offers features like route planning and local landmark and service searches. The mapping animations are amazingly clear and quite interesting to watch, though the initial download is rather slow.

Using the GPS function can be rather costly if you are not careful to only download the maps using a Wi-Fi connection. Area guides and access to the Nokia mapping system are available for additional fees. Voice navigation is also available with a monthly charge. The N95’s satellite navigation system is quite innovative and works wonderfully as a guide while walking. If you are looking for a GPS for heavy travelling in a vehicle, you are much better off with a dedicated unit.

The N95 is packed with a variety of other features and applications, including games, talking ring tones, and a number of productivity tools. There is plenty of internal memory (160MB), as well as an optional memory card, and the N95 features the latest connectivity and data transfer technology, including HSDPA, Bluetooth, and WLAN.

Overall, the Nokia N95 is a fascinating mobile phone with an unbelievable line up of features. One major flaw of this portable masterpiece is that, like some similar Nokia models, the phone is prone to crashes and resets, particularly after using the GPS. Battery life is not the greatest with the N95 and will typically require a daily recharge, especially with use of the navigation system. For most users, the features and capabilities of the Nokia N95 far outweigh its setbacks.
