Nokia are continuing to develop the C-Series of phones alongside the previously released C3 and C6. With the newest addition to the series; the C7, it appears the prestigious company have continued to turn their attention to a higher end of phone (perhaps coinciding with the release of the N8) So bearing this in mind, what does this piece of kit have to offer?
WHAT MAKES THE C7?
The Nokia C7 boasts an eye-catching 3.5 inch 16M-colour AMOLED capacitive glass touchscreen. The screen is encased in stainless steel bodywork which looks sleek; however has a tendency to attract fingerprints galore. Overall though, you do get the feeling that it is sturdy and well-built device.

In terms of its operating system the device runs off the newest edition of the Nokia OS; Symbian^3. This system is the recently revised version of its predecessor and, as expected, it does have flaws for use with everyday tasks. However, it does appear to be a speedy and resourceful system. Whether it is capable of challenging the big dogs such as Apple’s iOS and Google Android is yet to be seen.
With regards to connectivity, the device provides the standard that you have come to expect from the higher end of the market. The C7 offers 3G, Wi Fi, Bluetooth and microUSB support. The browser also features Flash support to broaden the internet surfing experience.
The camera on the device is of an impressive standard; sporting an 8 megapixel fixed focus snapper with dual LED flash. It also comes with geo-tagging and face detection capabilities. Similarly, the video capture is also great. Video recording is available in crystal clear 720p HD.
