Motorola RAZR V3i – Smarter Just Got Sexier
When the original Motorola V3 phone was launched onto an unassuming market, users went crazy for its extremely slim design and unique, almost touch-like keypad. However, with this size came some cutbacks, such as memory restrictions that meant you couldn’t store many files on the handset. Now, with the improved V3i, Motorola has answered these any criticism in style.
Coming in an already attractive sculpted metal finish, the V3i is also available in two special editions – the V3i DG and the V3i M, with the DG one being sponsored by the fashion house Dolce & Gabbana, with a gold and aluminium finish and a unique D&G headset for a design that stands out from the crowd. The M version is imply a maroon-coloured one, yet still makes for an even more likeable phone.
When you flip it open, you’ll find the Motorola V3i has a large, flat external and internal screen, which allows for picture caller ID to be displayed, as well as offer good vision options when using the 1.23 mega pixel camera. Although not the greatest of definitions, the camera does feature and 8 x zoom and its pictures look sharp on the screen.
Although the memory of the V3i is still a minor bone of contention, at least Motorola realise this may be the case, and have provided a mini SD card to expand the internal 10MB memory, and you can always buy a larger card should you need to. Of course, the beauty pf the removable memory card is whatever you have on it, you can take out and transfer to a home computer or laptop, freeing the memory up.
Another excellent feature of the phone, and one that today’s techno savvy users will really appreciate, is the ability to go online without having to log on to any server. This is made possible by Motorola’s patented SCREEN3 software, which allows you to view any news or other event without the need for large searches.
The MP3 player with the V3i is a pretty good one too, and by using the Bluetooth feature, you can easily swap files with friends and build up your own unique little music library. And the great thing about this phone is that if you want to listen to your own music while flying out on holiday, the phone has an Airplane Mode, which will let you listen to your songs even when the phone is off. And with it supporting Quad Band GSM, you can pretty much take it anywhere.
In fact, with all the new features coming in such a stylish new package, there’s pretty much no reason at all not to at least look at the Motorola V3i mobile phone, especially if you’re a fashion conscious gadget lover about to go on holiday.
