HTC Tattoo mobile phone deals A Customisable, Affordable Mobile

The HTC Tattoo is a unique, attractive little mobile that gives you the ability to customise it to your own liking through its wide variety of one-of-a-kind skins. Also included is a truly awesome user interface, lightning fast internet connection, and much more.

Appearance:

The Tattoo certainly scores points in the looks department. While at first its matte silver hue may look a bit too subtle, when you consider the many different designs you can include on it, its vaguely metallic hue makes sense. You can even create your own designs for a low price! It may feel a bit heavy at 113g, but it’s hardly a brick of a phone. Its curvy corners and gorgeous 2.8 inch 65K colour TFT LCD touchscreen give it a futuristic look that’s very appealing indeed.

Its main attraction, however, its that HTC has put an Android operating system and a Qualcomm processor into a mobile that is considerably more affordable. Google fans with tight budgets will be able to appreciate this enormously.

The Sense user interface is also an amazing addition. It allows you up to seven home screens to customise and play with. Not only that, but you can also change the theme of your user interface by creating different themes. For example, if you need to be business minded for work, you can keep your work related widgets and applications close at hand.

Our only complaint is that the touchscreen is very difficult to use. Users who have quick fingers will find themselves immensely frustrated as the screen forces them to slow down and make hard, distinctive presses to get anything accomplished.

Sound:

The sound quality is satisfactory, both for conversations and tunes. The phone includes a music player plus an FM radio RDS. Its 3.5 mm headphone jack completes the set of essentials you’ll need to enjoy your tunes, but don’t expect anything spectacular.

Camera:

Its 3.2 megapixel camera includes some nice features, such as auto focus and a few features that let you tweak the brightness and color of the photos, but without a flash you’re restricted to well lit areas for photos of any quality. You also get video recording and playing capabilities, but, again, nothing groundbreaking.

Internet Connectivity:

When it comes to staying online, the Tattoo has you covered, with 3G HSDPA, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, USB, GPRS, EDGE, and a newer connection known as HSUPA. Its quadband technology also allows you to continue to use the phone wherever you may roam.

Other goodies include A GPS nagivation and a fairly standard HTML browser. Users may enjoy the instant messaging, MMS, SMS, and email client, though the restrictive screen may put a damper on things. Fortunately, this mobile is able to loop all of your favorite networking programs together, allowing you to view your Facebook and Gmail contacts as well as several others.

Memory and Talk Time:

Fortunately, the Tattoo is loaded with memory, with a whopping 256 megabytes of RAM and 512 megabytes of ROM, all with a microSD memory card included. It has a nice battery life as well, with 6.5 hours of GSM talk time and 340 of GSM standby.

Conclusion:

Save for its small, difficult screen, the HTC tattoo has a lot going for it. Its awesome OS makes for a truly satisfying user experience, while its speedy internet and loads of other goodies make it a considerable phone, especially considering its price range. If you want something fast, fun, and creative, this is the perfect phone for you.
