Ever since HTC launched their very successful Desire HD, they really had their work cut out for them to come up with a new smartphone that would be even more successful. They feel that they have succeeded with this quest with the releases of the HTC Sensation.
The first thing you will notice about the Sensation is its smooth curves and sleek appearance. The beautiful 4.3 inch screen is just slightly concave so to prevent damage and scratching. The screen has even been coated with the very hard Gorilla Glass, so this device is as strong as it is sexy. The Sensation also feels secure and comfortable in your hand.
To make movie watching a real pleasure, the screen is qHD resolution with widescreen ratio.
The HTC Sensation offers an 8 mega pixel camera with dual LED flash and high shutter speed that give you crisp, clear photos. The camera is also capable of recording videos with superb quality. Your videos can be uploaded right to YouTube or you can email them to friends and family.

The Sensation includes an 8GB micro SD card in the box so you will have plenty of room to store your photos and videos. You can also use the USB connection and HTC Watch service to download television shows right to your mobile phone.
HTC was very smart this time and did not combine the Sensation with Microsoft’s Windows Mobile; instead they used the android Gingerbread and HTC Sense 3.0. This will give you access to multi-function lock screens, HTC Watch and a plethora of cool apps from the Android Market.
Naturally, as with any new model there are bound to be a few problems and glitches. Our first disappointment with the Sensation is the battery life. The device needed to be fully charged every day.
The second disappointment was the fact that we had a hard time viewing the screen outdoors in sunlight, this problem can definitely be improved, especially when you look at devices like the Galaxy S2’s Super AMOLED screen.
The Sensations internal storage was also a disappointment. There is only 1GB of memory, yes, you do get an 8GB micro SD card, but some mobile phones offer 16GB of internal memory so 1GB is a big let-down.
However, these are all problems that can be overlooked and they can all be improved with future upgrades.
